NEW paintings by Alicia Mannix, former Ashland resident currently living in Klamath Falls. Alicia’s professional career as an artist began in 1999. She took a six-year break from her painting to work as an art instructor at Klamath Community College, and now has returned to her roots. This exhibition represents an unveiling of her comeback to painting, albeit with a very different style. Her previous period mostly focused on abstract expressionism. This exhibit, however, showcases her fascination with roosters: including this fascinating animal’s colors, shapes and symbolism. Alicia’s work is held in private collections, and past exhibitions of her work have taken place in galleries on both coasts and Europe. To order archival , signed prints or any size contact artist.
